I had always loved this clip, but I didn't realize The Deep River Boys had made a large amount of recordings. Ran into this sound bite thanks to this page, this history article, and these CDs for sale. Really diggin'em.

Unrelated to The Deep River Boys, this song is hot*.

*When I say "hot," it has the same meaning as "red HOT jazz."

Disc One w/ Gang Busters & Public Jitterbug No. 1
Disc Two some of the titles just sound sooo cool -- One Is Never Too Old to Swing
Disc Three or funny -- When Elephants Roost in Bamboo Trees

Hey uh... my birthday's coming up and uh... they're only $4 a piece used ... so uh... Wink

Cool article here.

Uh oh, compare above track lists (and prices) w/ these:
One
Two
Three

Which set of three is better???

HOLY CRAP! Watch this clip of The Cats and the Fiddle!
from this page.
