Thanks! It's nice to know I'm not just shouting (figuratively, of course) out into the darkness.

Shouting for this week:
Come to swing club tomorrow! We'll be outside. I will personally beat up the God of Weather if it's stormy again and we have to dance inside. Dancing inside is still fun, but outside is better. We've been having tons of people show up. Add to crowd and add a few new friends to your social circle!

Ron will be teaching an intermediate lesson in the Union Ballroom at 8. I recommend leaving your car by the Naval Science Building and walking up to the union. Here's a campus map if you're not sure where to go: http://www.map.utah.edu/index.jsp

Beginning Lessons will be the same place as dancing from 8-9
Dancing from 9-11ish
No partner or experience needed, but either are welcome.
Please be on time for the lessons!

Fun dancing!
Fresh, cool water!
Cormeal to slicken up the ground!

Location: Summer Plaza
110 S, 1452 E, UofU Campus, SLC
SW of the Naval Science Building Parking Lot
Between the JWB & LCB Math Buildings
N of the E end of President's Circle

Directions:
Head E on 400 South in Salt Lake City.
400 S curves to become 500 S (at about 1000 East).
Turn L/N onto 1300 E (tall white bldng on the NW corner).
Go 4 Blcks, & turn R/E onto 100 S (bottom of a big dip).
Go 1.5 Blcks, turn R/S onto 1460 E (Wolcott St, 2nd light).
The building directly to the R/W is the NSB.
The Summer Plaza is SW of the Parking Lot.

Have you ever really thought about Thursdays? They're not a very special day on their own. Stuck right in the middle of Wednesday, aka hump-day, and Friday, that blissful start of the weekend. When thinking about Thursday have you ever thought "Gosh I wish there was a way to make Thursday special!"

Well now there is! Thursday can be a super fun day that you look forward to every week because Thursday is the day you can come up to the U and dance for Free! With me and several other people!

But wait! There's more! With this limited time offer we'll be dancing outside (offer void in the case of rain)! There will be great music! Great people! Water! Cornmeal for the ground! All for the low low price of ABSOLUTELY FREE!

Thursday happens every week. So does the U swing club. Strangely enough, Swing Club happens every week on Thursday. What a coincidence! You should probably come out and dance with us. Outside is a nice place to be dancing and that's where we'll be as long as it doesn't rain (in case of yucky weather, we'll be in the Naval Science Building in the gym).

Bug and Ron are going to be out of town (last I heard, if their plans changed I'll let you know asap) so there will not be a intermediate lesson. Beginning lessons still happen and there is lots of dancing and that's fun!

I failed to update last week, oops. I almost missed this week too. Things are crazy in my corner of the universe. Anyway, swing club is happening tonight! It'll be fun, you should be there. Outside (in the Naval Science Gym, if it rains) under the stars. If you look up... and somehow can see the stars through the light... you might even catch a few late persieds. Shooting stars and dance, what could be better?

You guys know the drill by now. If it's a Thursday, and it is Thursday once every week, there is dancing up at the U. And you really want to come. We're still outside (unless it rains) and we still play great music. We put stuff on the ground so your feets don't stick. I hope I see you there this week!

Look! I'm posting the update at not the last minute! Aren't you excited? Swing club is happening on Thursday like it usual does. We'll be dancing outside as long as it's not raining. If it is raining, we'll be in the Naval Science Gym.

There is a football game on Thursday so parking will probably be a right mess. Consider yourself warned.

Ron and Bug will be teaching an intermediate lesson in the Union Ballroom at 8. Afterward we can walk down and dance with everyone else.

We will also be doing some ULX planning after the lessons since some of us are going camping this weekend. We need people to volunteer for the different committee responsibilities!

Swing Club! Thursday! w00t!
I think it's time to let go of summer and admit that it's actually fall now. That's ok, fall is nice. And as long as the weather stays nice we'll still be dancing outside. If the rain comes back (I kind of hope it will, I like rain) we'll be dancing inside the Naval Science gym.
