Blues

I like blues dancing. No one has believed me when I've said in the past, and you likely won't believe it now, or you'll jump to all sorts of conclusions as to why I like it. You'll be wrong about your conclusions, but at least you'll be happy about it, I suppose.

Some of my favorite dances of all time have been blues dances, going back years and years. Of course, I didn't know what I was doing until recently (and I still barely know anything), but that doesn't discount what I enjoyed.

Of course, it doesn't hurt to have a hot fiancee that is wild about blues dancing. Wink

I'd probably post a random declaration like this on the forum too if I had a hot fiance who liked blues dancing.

Now that I think of it, I've had a hot BF who liked blues dancing, and it did enough to get me out there trying it.

Still not a fan of blues.. but I do enjoy slow dancing.. When attending steven mitchell's blues classes I just get into the whole"feeling" of the blues.

One thing I learned from your screening of Ken Burns Jazz was the tradition of dancing fast at the start of the night and slowing the music way down as the night wore on.
